As CEO and president of ChannelWave Software, Chris led the company from its inception. He guided the company through $63M of venture capital funding and several acquisitions before selling the company to Click Commerce in February 2005. Prior to ChannelWave, Chris served as Vice President and General Manager of Software House, a subsidiary of the security company, Sensormatic Electronics Corp. (TYCO), where he led the growth of the company from $15 million to $40 million in annual revenue in four years. Most recently, Chris was an executive coach and consultant to several local startup companies. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Chris serves on a number of tech advisory boards. He is a frequent speaker and panelist on subjects ranging from leadership in high-growth companies to building sales and marketing channels for scale.
David McFarlane, COO David's career spans more than 20 years of experience in operations, global sales and marketing management, business development, and information technology. As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at IM Logic, Inc, he successfully led the company's global expansion, driving triple-digit revenue growth and growing the customer roster to more than 400 and worldwide users to 400,000. Prior to IM Logic, Inc, David served as President and COO at Exchange Applications, Inc. where he drove revenues from $6m to $80m in four years, resulting in a successful IPO and peak valuation of $1.6 billion. In addition, David was Vice President International and Alliances at MRO Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:MROI), in which he had sales and business development responsibility for more than 40 countries and grew international revenues from $5m to $45m to be 50% of worldwide revenues, resulting in a successful IPO and peak valuation of $600 million. Before MRO Software, Inc, David was an Executive Manager with Plessey Avionics Ltd. of England. David graduated with honors from Bath University in England, and also holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University.
Coach Wei, Chairman, Founder and CTO Coach combines in-depth IT industry expertise with extensive education and research experience at MIT to drive technology innovation and business direction for Nexaweb. He founded Nexaweb in 2000 and served as CEO until summer 2003. Before founding Nexaweb, Coach architected and designed enterprise software for managing storage networks at EMC Corporation. As a graduate researcher at MIT, Coach developed software and hardware systems for non-destructive evaluation as well as signal/image processing algorithms. Coach was a finalist in the 1999 MIT $50K entrepreneurship competition and holds several U.S. patents. An accomplished writer and speaker, Coach has published numerous articles on topics including: AJAX, J2EE and .NET, RIA development, XML, signal/image processing, composite materials and ultrasonic imaging. He is a frequent speaker at top industry events, such as JavaOne and Web Services Edge. Coach holds an MS in information technology from MIT and maintains a blog at http://www.coachwei.com.
Robert Gagne, VP of Engineering Rob joined Nexaweb in summer 2005 from Atabok Inc. (formerly a division of Mitsubishi), where he served as vice president of engineering responsible for developing and implementing distributed network-computing systems for Fortune 100 and Global 500 companies. Rob’s background combines extensive experience in designing, developing and promoting reliable distributed network computing systems with extensive operations experience and deep industry knowledge. Previously, he held senior engineering and management positions at software development and business services companies, including Chase Manhattan (f.k.a. Chemical Bank N.A.) and Stream International Inc. Rob holds five U.S. patents and is a staff lecturer for Northeastern University’s School of Engineering Technology. He holds a BA in finance from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and holds an MS in computer science from Northeastern University. Sue brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience to her position of VP of Finance at Nexaweb. Sue’s responsibilities at Nexaweb include management of the company’s administrative, financial, and human resource operations. Prior to joining Nexaweb in September 2006, Sue was the Senior Director of Finance and Administration at Amicore where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and was involved in company’s sale to Misys Healthcare Systems. Before her time at Amicore, she was Vice President and Corporate Controller at Zaiq Technologies. Prior to Zaiq Technologies, Sue was the Finance, Planning and Analysis Manager for Nortel Networks in the Enterprise Data Solutions Division. Sue has also held senior financial and accounting positions with Software House, a subsidiary of Sensormatic Electronics Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
