Front-end Engineer
Seeking a talented front end engineer to build engaging, dynamic applications created for the web. We have projects spanning the world and are looking for someone who likes a fast pace and working with a talented group of engineers.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and maintain site-wide XHTML, CSS and Javascript code and coding standards
- Effectively communicate and work across teams
- Product and Design to understand goals, use cases, and flows
- Engineering and QA to deliver high quality implementations
- Utilize your trained eye for UI and design to make pleasing, efficient, and robust iterations on our site
Required Skills:
- Expert level coding skills in XHTML, CSS, Javascript, DHTML
- Advanced AJAX knowledge including detailed knowledge of available libraries
- Knowledge of all browser types and their various idiosyncracies
- Experience in UI conceptualization
- Experience working with server side Java and Java libraries such as Wicket OR experience using LAMP technologies
- Ability to interact with and communicate effectively across multiple teams
- Multitasking skills, as you will be working on several projects at once
- 2+ years at a consumer-facing web company in a similar role
- A BS or equivalent degree in one or more disciplines ranging from graphic design to computer science
Quality Assurance (requires writing code)
We create development platforms. We need testers who can write applications to see if the platform works properly. This includes testing the correctness and ease of use. A great first software development job.
Requirements:
- Strong developer oriented skill set focused on Java
- Experience with client side programming using HTML, Java or C#
- Experience with server side Java and Java EE or .NET
- CS degree or equivalent

Java consultant
Seeking a mid to senior Java web application consultant for onsite/offsite customer engagement. We've created an enterprise class solution that allows dynamic web applications that connect to the service oriented architectures that organizations are building. We're looking to grow our team of J2EE consultants.
- Work on customer specific projects using Nexaweb Technology, but remain integrated with the product team.
- Innovate, prototype and develop Nexaweb Technology.
- Participate in full product life cycle; design to release.

Requirements:
- Strong OOP experience
- SOA understanding
- Deep knowledge of and experience with Java programming.
- Server side programming (J2EE, .Net).
- Knowledge of C/C++ and C# would be a plus.
- Technical leadership experience.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- CS degree or equivalent experience.
- Travel 50% (US and Europe)
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Experience with: XML, web services, SOAP/WSDL/BPEL.
- Application framework or platform design and implementation experience.
- Experience or knowledge of developing development tools and environments.
- Experience shipping products.
